Dear Administrative Judges:

After we received Chairman Margulies' letter of March 26, 1985, in which he called upon the parties to confer and attempt to resolve discovery differences informally by way of negotiation and stipulation, we attempted to contact Laurie Fowler, Esq.,

Counsel for Joint Intervenors. We were advised that Ms. Fowler is out of town until April 10, 1985. In light of the fact that Chairman Margulies' letter asks for a response by that same day, I would respectfully request an additional ten days to confer with Ms. Fowler and her clients in accordance with your instructions. As a matter of information, the parties have scheduled the deposition of Douglas Teper, Joint Intervenors' Quality Assurance witness, for Wednesday, April 17, 1985.
