Dear Members of the Board:

On November 9, 1984, the Applicants in this proceeding sent a letter to the Board requesting that a thirty day limit be placed on reponses to the Staff's Phase II report due December 21, 1984.

CCANP sees no reason that the response period should be so limited when the thirty days includes the holiday season. CCANP, therefore, suggests to the Board that February 1, 1984 would be a more appropriate and humane response date.
