- Nuclear Station Safeguards Plan; Report of Chang'e-Revision Number Nine The Physical Security Plan and the Guard Training and Qualification Plan (Volumes I and III of the CNS Safeguards Plan) are being revised to incorporate a new weapons qualification course for the.38 caliber handgun.
The "NRA 25 Yard Course" will now be used and will provide a more effective and realistic training program for our security guard force.
Accordingly, Nebraska Public Power District is submitting, in accordance with the provisions of 10CFR Part 50.54(p), a Report of Change to the Cooper Nuclear Station Safeguards Plan, Revision Eight. Upon incorporation of this change, the current Safeguards Plan becomes Revision Nine. We believe, the enclosed changes, annotated by sidebars, do not decrease the safeguards effectiveness of the plan.
The material enclosed herewith contains Safeguards Information as defined by 10CFR Part 73.21 and its disclosure to unauthorized individuals is prohibited.
Therefore, we request the material, with the exception of the cover letter, to be withheld from public disclosure.
