Operating License No. DPR-50 Docket No. 50-289 Technical Specification Change Request No. 254 Revision The purpose of this letter is to submit a revision to Technical Specification Change Request (TSCR) No. 254 which was submitted by letter (C311-95-2277) dated August 10,1995, and revised by later (C311-95-2531) dated December 21,1995. This revision contains a change to the proposed Technical Specification (TS) page 4-46, on paragraph 4.6.2, which was recommended by the staff during a conference call on December 26,1995. This revision provides additional testing requirements if any station battery cell parameters are not met.
These additional testing requirements are consistent with the B&W Standard Technical Specifications (NUREG-1430). Please replace proposed TS page 4-46 with the revised replacement page in the TSCR package.
Pursuant to 10CRF50.91(a)(1), the proposed change to the TMI-1 Technical Specifications has been distributeo as specified by 10CRF50.4. The significant hazards consideration determination enclosed with TSCR No. 254 har not been affected by the revised attached page and is appropriate as originally submitted. A signed copy of the Certificate of Service to the chief executives of Iondonderry Township and Dauphin County and the designated representative of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is also enclosed.
