Dear Mr. O'Reilly:
In accordance with the Sequoyah Nuolear Plant Appendix A Technical Specifications, sections 6.9.1.6 and 6.9.1.7, enclosed is one copy of the following report prepared by the Tennessee Valley Authority pertaining to environmental monitoring at the Sequoyah Nuclear Plant.
Environmental Radioactivity Levels, Sequoyah Nuclear Plant Annual Report, 1982 In my letter to you dated April 30, 1982 transmitting the 1981 report, we noted that during the transfer of the data from the analytioni laboratory to the data base, a small undetermined number of negative values were changed to positive numbers. The data base and transfer program have been corrected and a check made of the corrected report data against the issued report. It was determined that the number of incorrect values was inconsequential with negligible impact on the data reported or the conclusions drawn in the report.
If you have any questions, please get in touch with K. P. Parr at FTS 858-2685.
Very truly yours, TENNESSEE VALLEY AUT110RITY L. H. Hills, Manager Nuolear Licensing Enclosure oct Director of Nuolear Reactor Regulation (Enclosures (20))
