Dear Sir:
Please be advised that in the event of a radiological accident at the Shoreham Nuclear Plant, the North Bellmore Union Free School District would not make its facilities available as part of a LILCO plan of evacuation.
Many years ago, our district agreed to cooperate in the event of natural disasters.
However, we do not consider a Shoreham emergency to be a " natural" disaster; therefore, we would not participate in any evacuation plan that involved the use of our school property.
