Response to AL 96-001: Operator Licensing National Examination Schedule Three Mile Island Nuclear Station, Operations ard Training Departments reviewed the subject Administrative Letter and have updated estimates of the number of candidates to be tested for operator licenses in fiscal years 1996 through 1999. The completed NRC Form 536 " Licensed Operator Exam Data" shows the proposed operator licensing examination schedule data requested: personnel to be examined during each of the two annual scheduled site visits and the candidates expected to participate in the generic fundamentals examination scheduled for April 1996.
The Annual Operational Examinations are being conducted during the first quarter of 1996.
They started on February 12 and will run through March 20,1996. The NRC inspection of this examination is scheduled to take place during the week of March 11,1996. The next Requalification Examination will be conducted during the first quarter of 1997: the start is tentatively scheduled for the week of January 13,1997 and it is expected to conclude the week of Febmary 5,1996.
