December 29,1995 Page 2 Company's (PECO Energy) commitments as documented in the referenced letters. A GL 89-10 program completion report is being prepared and will be available for review.

In response to GL 8910, PECO Energy developed and implemented a program to verify the design basis capahi!ity of motor operated valves (MOVs) within the scope of the GL program. The GL 89-10 program MOVs at PBAPS Unit 3 have been tested and setup with the best available data.

PECO Energy has made a significant commitment of resources toward implementing the GL 89-10 program at PBAPS. Completion of the program involved more than a five year effort. Future program changes deemed necessary in response to emerging issues and newly available data will be handled under the provisions of 10CFR50.59.

If you have any questions or require additional information, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Sincerely, b.

G. A. Hunger, vr.
