Dear Sir:
This special report is submitted in accordance with LaSalle Unit 1 Operating License NPF-ll, Appendix A, Technical Specifications 3.7.6 and 6.6.c.
On October 20,198h, after the completion of fire door surveillance, LTS-1000-14, vs.rious fire doors did not meet the inspection criteria as outlined in the surveil-lance procedure.
In accordance with the Action Statement of Technical Specifica-tion 3.7.6, the doors were declared inoperabla.
An hourly fire watch was established in the affected areas in addition to generating a Work Request to fix the above mentioned doors. The work is expected to be completed by December 1, 1984, at which time the doors will be declared operable upon satisfactorily being re-inspected in accordance with LTS-1000-14.
