The subject Request for Additional Information (RAI),
dated November 6, 1995 requested that Grand Gulf Nuclear Station (GGNS) submit ampacity dorating information to complete the response to reporting requirements Item 2 (c) of GL 92-08. Specifically, the RAI requests ampacity derating evaluations, including any applicable i
test reports.
In addition, the anticipated test procedures and/or a description of the analytical methodology including typical calculations that will be used to determine the ampacity derating parameters for GGNS installed Thermo-Lag barriers were also requested.
Licensees were requested to inform the NRC of the s
earliest date by which the requested information could i
be provided, if the submittal schedule constraints of the RAI could not be met.
Based on our current plans, the information requested by this RAI to complete the response to Generic Letter 92-i 08, reporting requirements Item 2 (c) (ampacity' derating) will be provided by June 30, 1996.
