HQ1r CRIEA.J{QQLKAILQED_AE.NG CQlqQfATIQH Report for Period Ending June 30, 1992 Positive Test Results.
One employee tested positive for marijuana during the period January 1, 1992 through June 30, 1992.
This incident was not reportable purruant to 10 CFR 26.73.
The employee's unescorted access was suspended for 15 days during Employee Assistance Program (EAP) referral and evaluation.
A joint - decision of the EAP, Medical Review Officer (hRO) and Manager Human Resources resulted in reinstat ement to duty, conditioned upon the employee's comnitment to discontinue abusive uen of substances, continue counseling as directed by the EAP and submit to examinations by company inedical/psychclogical personnel upon request.
The employee tested negative for all substances under direct observatien a
prior to reinstatement.
One contractor tested positive for marijuana on a pre-access screen and was denied access.
One contractor tested positive for alcohol on a L
random screen and that individual's access was removed.
In addition, one WCHOC employee tested positive for cocaine as the result of a directed screen and her employment was terminated.
WCHOC conducts frequent, unannounced " directed" screens upon personnel who had positive drug screens before January of 1990.
These tests are not considered " follow-up" tests because the events leading to test' preceded implementation of-10 cFR Part 26 WCHOC had no "for-cause" screens during the reporting period.
Initiatives Taken.
l N/A Sununary of events reported under 10 CrR 26.73.
WCNOC did not have any reportable events under 10 CTR 26.73.
