COMANCHE PEAK STEAM ELECTRIC STATION (CPSES) - UNIT 2 DOCKET NO. 50 446 FERRO-RESONANT TRANSF0kHERS SDAR CP-92 12 (INTERIM REPORT)

Gentlemen:

On June 18, 1992, TO Electric discovered a deviation in several spare ferro-resonant transformers drawn from the warehouse that could cause an unacceptable total harmonic distortion in the output of tile Westinghouse 7.5 Lya inverters.

The evaluation of this identified deviation, potentially associated with a substantial safety hazard, will be completed by October 30, 1992.
