DEFICIENCY PAPER (JAMES COLE)

By Memorandum dated November 9, 1984, the Board ordered Applicants tol file " deficiency paper (NCR or.other equivalent)" or "an explanation of why it does not exist" with respect to the termination of James Cole.*

James Cole was terminated on October 21, 1982, due to an excessive number of errors in documentation of hangers. Under the program in effect at the time of Mr. Cole's termination, the ASME document reviewer who identified an apparent error would send the document in question back to the Oc supervisor (or lead inspector) under whom the CC inspector (like Mr. Cole) worked. If the error or discrepancy could not be resolved, then a deficiency paper At the hearing on November 21, 1984, the Board in Docket Nos.

50-445-2 and 50-446-2 granted Applicants' motion to reconsider the November 9 memorandum. Chairman Bloch and Judge Jordan, sitting as a quorum of the Board in Docket Gos. 50-445-1 and 50-446-1, then ordered Applicants to make the filing la this docket by November 23, 1984.
