Operating License No. DPR-50 Docket No. 50-289 Cycle 9 Core Operating Limits Report, Revision 1 Pursuant to TMI-l Technical Specification Section 6.9.5.4, enclosed is a copy of the Cycle 9 Core Operating Limits Report, Revision 1.
This revision incorporates adjustments to the Cycle 9 Rod index Limits using a plant-specific 2% uncertainty in rod position indication in lieu of the generic 1.5% uncertainty previously assumed.
For Cycle 9, this revision affects the 10515 EFPD to E0C Rod Index Limits only. For future cycles, the revised uncertainty will be applied to rod position limits over the entire cycle.
This change is being made to reflect observed instrument accuracies and to support lnnger operating cycles.
The cycle-specific core operating limits contained in this report have beer, determined in accordance with Technical Specification 6.9.5.
