-Due to the significance of this change, and.because this NUREG-0737 iten was previously addressed generically, Georgia Power Campany (GPC) feels that the BE Owners Group should resolve the questions raised by the revised ISC staff position through direct caanunication. with the NRC.

The BNR-Owners Grote is undertaking such a course of-action and GPC will be a participant in this Owners-Group effort.

Further plant specific resolution' of the' issue, if' required as a result of the generic' effort, will be addressed after the completion of the Owners Group effort.
