This letter is in response to Reference (c) and provides supplemental information regarding Reference (a).
As stated in Reference (b), we did not believe it was necessary for the Plant Operat ions & Saf ety Review Comni t tee (POSRC) to review the procedures listed in the Combined Inspection Report.
It was our judgement that all the appropriate Chemistry and Radiochemistry Control Procedures were reviewed by POSRC as per the requirements of Regulatory Guide 1.33, Appendix A, Section 10.
However, in light of the additional clarification of Regulatory Guide 1.33 provided in Reference (c), and by our Senior Resident inspector, Mr. T. Foley, the POSRC will review all Chemistry and Radiochemistry Procedures listed in Reference (a) by December 1,
1984.
