Subject:
Request to Revise Draft Fermi 2 Technical Specification 9.9.7.9 The Reference 2 and 3 letters provided Detroit Edison commitments to install additional fire detectors or relocate fire detectors to meet the requirements of NFPA 72E. to this letter provides a draft change to Technical Specification 3.3 7 9, Table 3.3.7.9-1, which reflects the addition of detectors per these commitments.
As discussed with you and your staff in a telephene conversation on March 6, 1985, Detroit Edison will comply with the action statement of Technical Specification 3.3.7.9 as applicable until these additional detectors are operable.
Detroit Edison also understands per the l
conversation with you that relocation of detectors within, i
the same area does not require entry into an action statement as long as the detectors are operable.
