SALEM SECURITY CONTINGENCY PLAN SALEM GENERATING STATION UNIT NOS. 1 E. 2 DOCKET NOS. 50-272, 50-311 In accordance with the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended, the regulations thereunder, and provisions of 10CFR50.54 (p),
hereby transmitted is one (1) copy of Submittal 5, Amendment 1, of the Salem Generating Stati0n Security Contingency Plan which is the separately bound Chapter 8 of the Salem Generating Sta-tion Security Plan.
This revision is deemed not to decrease the safeguards effectiveness of the plan and, therefore, does not represent a change to Operating Licenses DPR-70 and DPR-75 for Salem Generating Station Unit Nos. 1 and 2.
This revision reflects changes in contingency response opera-tions designed to enhance internal communications and facili-tate notification of the NRC when required.
The Summary of Changes, Attachment 1, defines the scope of this revision.
