Dear Mr..Denton:

Reference (a) provided the Commission with the fuel load dates for our Braid. wood. Units 1 and 2 that.we are currently working towards.

The purpose'of this letter is to advise the Commission

-that the Commonwealth Edison Company has begun its regular periodic review of the status of our Braidwood units under construction.

This review is not. expected-to be completed until late in the year.

Based o'n the information currently available, hcwever, Commonwealth Edison presently expects that at the conclusion of the review, the scheduled service dates for our Braidwood Units 1 and 2 will be

' deferred by.no more than one year.

We will. advise the Commission of any revised service dates that -may result upon completion of our review efforts.
