VIRGINIA ELECTRIC AND POWER COMPANY NORTH ANNA POWER STATION UNIT NOS. 1 AND 2 PROPOSED TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION CHANGES Pursuant to 10 CFR 50.90, the Virginia Electric and Power Company requests an amendment, in the form of changes to the Technical Specifications, to Operating Licenses NPF-4 and_NPF-7 for North Anna Power Station, Unit Nos. I and 2.

The proposed changes to the North Anna Unit Nos. I and 2 Technical Specifications are administrative in nature and relate to the Radiological Effluent' Technical Specifications (RETS). The Containment Vacuum Steam Ejector (Hogger) was inadvertently left out of our RETS submittals, as a gaseous release path, and was since approved by the NRC on May 5, 1983, in Amendment . No. 48 and 31 for North Anna 1 and 2, respectively. Also Figure 5.1-2 was inadvertently deleted in our previous submittals but it should have \

been retained because it indicates the low population zone. This addition.of Figure 5.1-2 should be reflected in Specification 5.1.2. The location of the Met.' Tower was left out of our RETS submittals and it shculd be' located on Figure 5.1-1. The table number referenced in North Anna .1 Technical

~ Specification 4.11.2.5 should be corrected to indicate Table 3.3-14 instead of 3.3-13 and Amendment No. 11 was inadvertently left off North Anna Unit 2 Technical Specification 6.10.2n. The proposed changes for North Anna Unit No.

I are provided in Attachment 1. The proposed changes for North Anna Unit No.

2 are provided in Attachment 2. A discussion of the proposed changes is provided in Attachment 3.

This request has been reviewed and approved by the Station Nuclear Safety and Operating Committee and the Safety Evaluation and Control Staff. It has been determined that this request does not involve an unreviewed safety question as defined in- 10 CFR 50.59 and it does not pose a significant hazards consideration as defined in 10 CFR 50.92. \
