Beaver Valley Power Station, Unit No.1 QA Program Description Changes Gentlemen:
It is my understanding that the Regional Office has not yet received its copy of the changes to the QA Program description as provided with our annual revision of the Updated Final Safety Analysis Report. As a result, we received a request for an additional copy of changes to the QA Program description to facilitate the Region's review. Included as an attachment to this letter is a copy of the subject changes as submitted to the NRC in accordance with the reporting requirements of 10CFR50.71.
These changes have been previously submitted to Mr. Harold Denton as part of the annual update of our Final Safety Analysis Report. The changes to the QA Program description contained in that submittal, dated July 13, 1984, did not reduce the commitments in the program description and therefore were submitted to the NRC in accordance with the requirements of 10CFR50.71 as provided by 10CFR50.54(a)(3).
We are satisfied that this method of reporting changes to the QA Program description is in full agreement with the Code of Federal Regulations.
