UNITED STATES OF AMERICA NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION In the Matter of HOLTEC INTERNATIONAL Docket No. 72-1051-ISFSI (HI-STORE Consolidated Interim Storage Facility)
ORDER On April 2, 2020, Fasken Land and Minerals, Ltd. and Permian Basin Land and Royalty Owners submitted an unopposed request to extend the deadlines for interested parties to file petitions to intervene, new or amended contentions, or hearing requests based on information in the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) issued for the proposed Holtec HI-STORE Consolidated Interim Storage Facility.1 Pursuant to my authority under 10 C.F.R. § 2.346(b),
petitions to intervene, hearing requests, and motions to admit contentions challenging the DEIS will be deemed timely if filed on or before May 11, 2020. This order does not affect any other requirement relating to the admission of contentions filed after the deadline under 10 C.F.R.
§ 2.309(c) or relating to motions to reopen under 10 C.F.R. § 2.326.
