SUMMARY
OF APRIL 7, 2020, MEETING WCAP 18461, COMMON Q PLATFORM AND COMPONENT INTERFACE MODULE SYSTEM ELIMINATION OF TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION SURVEILLANCE REQUIREMENTS (EPID L-2020-TOP-0002)
On April 7, 2020, U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff held a closed meeting with representatives from Westinghouse Electric Company. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss WCAP-18461, Common Q Platform and Component Interface Module System Elimination of Technical Specification Surveillance Requirements. All information related to the meeting and discussed in this summary can be found in the Agencywide Documents Access and Management System Package Accession No. ML20084N923.
Prior to the meeting, the NRC staff provided a table of topics related to the completeness of WCAP-18461. At the meeting, Westinghouse representatives discussed the responses to the topics. Based on the Westinghouse information, the NRC staff found that the topics had been addressed.
Westinghouse committed to provide a proprietary and nonproprietary version of the responses to the NRC staff as the supplement to the submitted topical report. These can be found in the meeting package referenced earlier.
