Docket Nos. 50-445 and 50-446 O 2.-

Dear Mrs. Ellis:

I am enclosing herewith our replies to NRC Staff questions concerning Applicants' motions for summary disposition regarding pipe support design issues. These questions generally sought, and our answers provide, additional information confirming the validity of Applicants' positions in the motions. Accordingly, if in view of this additional material CASE believes any of its own objections to Applicants' motions are satisfied, I would expect that you would inform the other parties and the Board so that these issues may be resclved expeditiously.

Sin,cerely, William A. Horin Counsel for Applicants s
