2.0 SCOPE This procedure applies to emergency situations involving evacuation requiring assistance from the Pope County Sheriff's Department.

3.0 REFERENCES

3.1.1 State of Arkansas Emergency Operations Plan, Annex V - Arkansas Nuclear One Radiological Incident Response Plan.

CHANGE DATE 6.0 INSTRUCTIONS 6.1 If the assistance of the Pope County Sheriff's office is required at Arkansas Nuclear One (ANO), the Shift operations Supervisor or his designee should call Pope County Sheriff's office at 968-2558 or by means of the Sheriff's radio and provide them with a-description of the assistance required.

6.2 The Pope County Sheriff's Department may verify the authenticity of the request by calling the applicable Arkansas Nuclear One Control Room.

6.3 The Shift Operations Supervisor or his designee should direct members of the Pope County Sheriff's Department to report to the Main Guard Station (or appropriate location). The Duty Guard Sergeant should be available to provide further instructions. The Pope County Sheriff's Department should coordinate its activities with the Duty Guard Sergeant or the Security coordinator.

6.4 If road blocks are required, the Pope County Sheriff's office shall be requested to provide assistance in enforcing road blocks. The Exclusion Area and the location of the required road blocks are shown in Attachment 1.

CHANGE DATE 1.0* PURPOSE The purpose of this procedure is to provide guidance on the coordination of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Emergency Plan related activities in the event of an unusual or emergency situation at Arkansas Nuclear One.

2.0 SCCPE This procedure is applicable to emergency situations requiring assistance of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

DATE 6.0 INSTRUCTIONS 6.1 The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has agreed to contact Arkansas Nuclear one in the following situations in order that appropriate actions may be taken:

6.1.1 Dardanelle Lake level increases above elevation 340 feet.

6.1.2 Dardanelle Lake level is projected to risa above elevation 340 feet.

6.1.3 Dardanelle Lake level must be drawn below elevation 335 feet.

6.2 ' Radiological Incident 6.2.1 Should an incident occur at Arkansas Nuclear One which re-quires evacuation and control of access to the Arkansas Nuclear One exclusion area, the Shift operations Supervisor shall contact the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to request that boat access to the portions of Lake Dardanelle within the exclusion area be controlled.

6.2.2 The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has agreed to then take action to notify commercial boat traffic of these restric-tions, and coordinate the necessary support frem the United States Coast Guard such as notification of private b o a '.s .
