Dear Lynne:

This is in response to your letter of September 17, 1984, .

and will confirm information I have already provided to you orally.

You first inquired about Observation Center logs. A com-puterized index of documents reviewed for the puspose of locating potential documents responsive to TMIA's-discovery re-quests indicated Observation Center logs began on March 31 and thus they were not regarded as responsive to your request. A review of microfilm records following your September 17 inquiry showed that logs were begun at the Observation Center beginning at about 0815 on March 29, 1979. These logs for March 29 and 30 now have been reviewed and because they contain no reference to any of the subject matter in the proceeding are not being provided.

Your letter then identified a number of specific " gaps".

Our response is:

i (1) Mr. Dieckamp's notes covering March 28 and March 29 were produced in their entirety.

(2) Document file I-43 (1) which has been produced in-

cludes logs for all three days (March 28, 29, 30). The authors of these logs are unknown.

(3) In response to Interrogatory 36, Licensee produced pages 87-97 of the CRO logs and pages 393-405 of the Shift Foreman logs. In response to Document Request 9, Licensee pro-duced pages 84-86 of the CRO logs and pages 389-391 of the Shift Foreman logs. The only missing page in these log se-

.quences is 392 of the Shift Foreman log which I am informed is denominated " blank"; this page as well has been made available

! in the Discovery Room. To the extent the authors are known, l

they are as indicated in the logs themselves.
