$0 306 DPR-60 Unit 2 Inservice Inspection Summary Report Psefueling Outnge No. 15 Attached for your information are four copics of the report, " Inservice Inspection Examination Stunmary, February 20, 1992 to March 15, 1992, Refueling Outage Number 15. Inspection Period 3, Second Interval" and which includes the ASME Section XI Repair / Replacement Summary report.
The Inservice Inspection Examination Summary report is a summary of the examinations performed during the last refueling outage of the Prairie Island Nuclear Generating Plant Unit No. 2.
The ASME Section XI Repair / Replacement Summary report is a summary of the repairs and replacements to ASME Code Class 1, 2 and 3 components and systems during the last reiueling outage of the Prairie Island Nuclear Generating Plant Unit No. 2.
The Inservice Inspection Summary report identifies components examined, the exarnination methods used, the examination number, and summaries of the results.
All anomalies were either corrected or an engineering evaluation was performed to accept "as is" conditions, The ASME Section XI Repair-Replacement Summary report identifies work request number and sunanaries of the work.
An NSP internal quality assurance activity identified an FSAR commitment I
regarding main steam and feedwater welds in the auxiliary building.
This commitment requires inspection of certain main steam and feedwater velds at approximately four times the current schedule.
This commitment was identified after the Unit 2 startup.
Inspection dering the outage were performed in accordance with the normal ISI and PSAR schedule.
This issue will be resolve prior to the next refueling outage.
l The Inservice Inspection Summary Report is being submitted in accordance with the Prairie Island ASME Code Section XI Inservice Inspection and Testing l
Program.
The submittals of the attached summary reports are intended to l
satisfy the inspection reporting requirements contained in IWA-6220 of the 1
ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code.
