UNIT TWO

SUMMARY

STATUS OF FUEL PERFORMANCE END OF CYCLE THIRTEEN JANUARY, 1996 Quad-Cities Unit Two has completed Thirteen Reactor cycles of operation.

During that time, 2811 fuel assemblies had seen duty in the Unit Two core.

No sipping was performed on reload fuel assemblies at the end of cycle thirteen.

This decision was based on chemical and radiochemical data collected during cycle twelve, which showed no indication of leakage or fuel failure.

For Unit Two Cycle 14, 16 YJ8-GE10B and 128 YJA-GE10B new (barrier clad) assemblies were visually inspected and loaded into the Unit Two Reactor.
