This Special Report is submitted in accorda:K* d th LaSalle Unit 1 Operating License, NPT-ll, Appendix A, Technical Specification 3.7.5.3.
On May 8, 1992 the 'O' Diesel Generator CO2 System exceeded its 14 day time clock because of the replacement of the CO2 Control Panel which makes the CO2 System inoperable.
In accordance with the Action Statement of Technical Specification 3.7.5.3 an hourly fire watch was established to inspect the generator room driring the time period that the CO2 system is inoperable.
A Special Report is required because the CO2 System inoperab.ility exceeded the allowable 14 day time clock. The CO2 System will be returned t.o service upon completion of the modification.
