NRC Administrative Letter 96-01, dated January 9, 1996, Operator Licensing National Examination Schedule Gentlemen:

In Administrative Letter 96-01, dated January 9, 1996, the holders of operating licenses or construction permits for nuclear power reactors were requested to provide the estimated number of candidates to be examined for operator licenses during each of the two annual scheduled site visits for fiscal years 1996 through 1999. In addition, the estimated number of candidates who will participate in the generic fundamentals examinations scheduled for April and October 1996 was also requested. Lastly, the dates for the next scheduled licensed operator requalification examinations were requested. This information was requested to be provided on a voluntary basis within thirty days of the receipt of the Administrative Letter.

The Nebraska Public Power District is pleased to provide the requested information for the Cooper Nuclear Station. Attached you will find NRC Form 536 that contains the updated estimate of the number of participants. The next licensed operator requalification examinations are scheduled over a six week training cycle from 11/11/96 to 12/20/96.
