DPR.42 50 306 DPR.60 Rggmse to Telephone Inauf ry Regardinc a Sultable Inquiry Case In response to the June 2, 1992 telephone inquiry from NRC Region III regarding a suitable inquiry case, the following information is offered:
1.
The individual was hired by APS on June 11, 1990 according to NSP access authorization records.
2.
The individual started Nuclear Security Officer training June 12, 1990.
3.
The individual completed Nuclear Security Officer training September 6, 1990.
4.
The individual was granted unescorted access to Prairie Island on June 28, 1990.
5.
The individual's first unescorted access into the Prairie Island protected area was June 28, 1990.
6.
The individual was qualified as a Nuclear Security Officer (Armed Guard) on September 6, 1990.
7.-
T1.e individual was reduced :c. a Watchman on December 7,1990.
8.
The individual was authorized to return to Armed Guard status on February 10, 1991.
9.
The individual is still subject to followup drug and alcohol testing.
10.
The individual is currently employed with Burns, and has unescorted access to Prairie Island.
Burns was awarded the NSP nuclear security of ficer cont ract January 1,1992.
11.
Medical assurance stating the individual coulo return to " Armed Guard" status was given on February 3, 1991, Y{
