Docket No. 50-482: Revised Vehicle Barrier System Design Gentlemen:
The Reference transmitted Wolf Creek Nuclear Operating Corporation's design to provide a vehicle Barrier System at Wolf Creek Generating Station (WCGS) in accordance with 10 CFR 73.
This letter transmits revisions to the original vehicle Barrier System design, which include the application of the Vehicle Barrier System as it relates to the Essential Service Water System.
The revised design also incorporates a rod barrier system and deletes the Jersey barriers.
The attachment describes changes to the Vehicle Barrier System.
The enclosure reflects the as-built configuration of the Vehicle Barrier System and shows the safe standoff distance from vital areas.
