ATTACHMENT /IV NARRATIVE.
SUMMARY
. OF OPERATING EXPERIENCE The Virgil-C. Summer Nuclear Station, Unit-No. 1, operated at approximately 80% power through July 13,1984.
On July 14, 1984, power was reduced and the generator taken off line at 0518 hours0.006 days <br />0.144 hours <br />8.564815e-4 weeks <br />1.97099e-4 months <br /> to allow repairs to the "B" steam generator.
The plant entered Mode 3 at 0602 hours0.00697 days <br />0.167 hours <br />9.953704e-4 weeks <br />2.29061e-4 months <br />.
One leaking tube was ~ found and plugged.
7 On1 July 29,.1984, at 0459' hours, the reactor tripped on Lo'-Lo steam generator level from 60% power.
The Feedwater-Reg. Valve positioners-had been replaced during the steam generator repairs and were. exhibiting irregular behavior.
i On July 31, 1984, the plant was operating-at approximately 90%
power.
Power was being increased tx) 100%.
Initial refueling is scheduled to begin in late September 1984.
