PULSTAR Nuclear Reactor Emergency Drul As required by the North Carolina State University PULSTAR Nuclear Reactor Emergency Plan and Procedures, the annual drHI is scheduled for 21 December 1995 (Thursday). A representative from your organization is invited to participate and observe or comment on the drill.
For the purpose of drill integrity, the specifics of the drHI other than the date can not be provided at this time. This drill will be announced and is designed to be comprehensive in nature. Several organizations from on campus and off campus agencies will be participating. Several parts of the PULSTAR Emergency Plan wHl be tested during the drHI which may include notification, classificat!an, dose assessment, evacuation, and/or re-entry. Controllers and observers wHI be provided with a copy of the drill scenario on the date of the drill.
The drHI will be held at the reactor site in the Burlington Engineering Laboratory on campus starting at 8 AM. The Initial meeting place wHl be in the Control Room, (Room 2130). Duration of the drill wXI be approximately five hours with a drill critique immediately following termination.
