02 Summnaq Report for Resolution of Unresolved Safety issue A46, Point Beach Nuclear Plan. Units 1 and 2."

During subsequent reviews of these submitted reports following the June 30 submittal, we have identified corrections that should be made to the reports.
OUTLIERS Our reviews of the Seismic Evaluation Report identified threc outliers associated with the Point Beach Nuclear Plant cable trays that were not discussed in Revision 0 of the report. The outliers were identified and docurnented during the USI46 seismic verification walkdowns.
These outliers are:
- 1) a loose base clip angle on one side of a floor to ceiling cable tray support;
- 2) cable bundles in PBNP Unit 1 Containment,46' clevation hanging out of their respective cable trays with no visible cable ties securing them :0 the trays.
- 3) one instance in PBNP Unit 2 Containment,46' elevation where cable bundles were hanging out of their respective vertical cable tray with no visible cable ties securing them to the tray.
The outliers along with the proposed resolution are discussed in Sections 7,8 and 9 of the Seismic Evaluaaon R,-

completeness and clarification. These changes are summarized in a table at the beginning of the enclosed Attachments A and B.
REVISION SUBMITTAL This letter tratzsmits Revision I to the above reports for incorporation into your copies. Attachments A and B provide the instructions for incorporating the resised sections, a summary of the revisions, and the revised sections for each of the respective reports. The specific changes in each revised section are identified with margin bars in the left margin. For convenience, we have provided replacements for all of the pages for each revised section.
We would be pleased to answer any questions you may have regarding the results of our USl A-46 study or the enclosed report revisions.
