20555 Ret Shoreham Nuclear Plant
Dear Sir:
Certain infonnation has actne to our attention relating to the Shoreham Nuclear Plant's construction which we want to convey to you in the fonn of an inquiry.
This is of significant concern to us in as much as the nuclear plant project ct Shoreham is located in the district which I represent on the Suffolk County Legiclature.
We are given to understand that relatively lhnited installatica has been done to set in place the dane at the top of the plant project. This is stated in relative terms to us because the done is not installed with nearly as much enforced support as conpared with the enforced, three to four foot thick concrete walls around the plant.
If this be the c.ase, inqCy is made to you as to whether this 10 a safety feature that is, or should be, of concern to the public.
