Comments on
" Proposed Generic Communication NRC Bulletin No. 90-01, Supplement 1 Loss of Fill Oil in Transmitters Manufactured by Rosemount" (57 Federal Reaister 11732 of April 7.1992)
Dear Hr. Chilk:
Southern Nuclear Operating Company has reviewed the proposed bulletin supplement, " Proposed Generic Communication NRC Bulletin No. 90-01, Supplement 1:
Loss of Fill Oil in Transmitters Manufactured by Rosemount" published in the Federal Register on April /,1992.
In accordance with the request for comments Southern Nuclear Operating Company is in total agreement with the NUMARC comments which are to be provided to the NRC.
In addition, Southern Nuclear Operating Company provides the following comment:
Reporting requirement 3 requires the licensee to provide a statement (within 60 days after receipt of the bulletin supplement) confirming that item 3 of Requested Actions has been completed.
Item 3 of Requested Actions requires two things:
- 1) quarterly evaluation of measurement data for comparison with manufacturer's drift data; and
- 2) 18 month evaluation of all remaining transmitters subject to the enhanced survei' lance monitoring program, if the licensee has not l
been evaluating measurement data quarterly and evaluating remaining I
transmitters every " months then the licensee cannot provide a statement confirming that this item has been completed.
