SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION FOR.
REQUEST FOR AMENDMENT FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE NFF-57 HOPE CREEK GENERATING STATION DOC' T No. 50-354 By letter ULR-N91127, dated July 25, 1991, Public Service El*ctric and Gas Company (PSE&G) submitted an application to amend Appendix A of Facility. Operating License No. NPF-57 in accordince-with 10CFF.5 0. 9 0.
This amendment would modify, in accordance with the provisions and guidance of Generic Letter 88-01, several sections o f. Hope Creek Genereting. station (hCGS)-Technical-Specificationu (TS).
Additionally, TG 3.4.3.1, Le%kago Detection Systems, was rewritten to elininate ambiguities and to include provisionu supported by the BWROG (and recently promulgated by the NRC in s
Supplement 1 to Generic Letter 88-01).
Our description of the requested amendment, supporting information and-analyses for the change, and the basis for a no significant hazards consideration determin'tlon provided in our original amendment request are not enanged by this supplement. The changes pr(. pose d in thin supplement (in Attachmmt 1) include e minor alteration of the wording originally proposed for TG 4.0.0 and a supporting statement in 3 eses Section 3/4.4.3.1 regarding the accuracy of our proceduralized leakage calculations.
