Enclosed please find ten (10) copies of the revised upgraded Berkeley-Research Reactor Emergency Plan, originally dated October 25, 1982, revised June 21, 1983 and approved July 13, 1984,-current revision date August 13, 1984. This revised plan is submitted to replace the current upgraded Emergency Plan, originally dated October 25, 1983, revised June 21, 1983 and approved July 13, 1984. 'Ihe revised plan has been reviewed and approved by the Reactor Hazards Comittee, the. Berkeley Campus Office of Environmental Health 'and Safety and the Campus Police. The revised plan does not decrease the effectiveness of its purpose as compared to the July 13, 1984 approved Emergency Plan.
We plan to implement the revised plan imediately, with full implementation 120

days from the date of approval, July 13,'1984. We will inform you by letter of the date on which complete implementation is achieved.-
