50-328 In accordance with 10 CFR Part 50.90, we are enclosing 40 copies of a requested amendment to the operating license, DPR-77 and DPR-79, to change the Sequoyah Nuclear Plant units 1 and 2 technical specifications (T/S).
The proposed changes are provided in Enclosure 1.
These proposed changes to table 3 3-11 allow use of thermal fire detectors in' stead of infrared detectors. The -justification for the proposed T/S changes is provided in.
Enclosed is a' check for the $150 amendment application fee required by 10 CFR 170.12. The amendment application fee is being wired to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Attention: Licensing Fee Management Branch.
This requested amendment has been evaluated pursuant to 10 CFR 50.92 and no significant hazards considerations are involved.
