Control Room Emernency Ventilation System j
Ladies and Gentlemen:
i On December 19,1995, Southern Nuclear Operating Company (SNC) submitted a request to i
revise " Technical Specifications Control Room Emergency Ventilation System." The purpose of this letter is to correct our submittal concerning the applicability of Specification 3.0.4 to the one-time 30-day extension clause. The existing 10 CFR 50.92 significant hazards evaluation 4
previously submitted by SNC provides a satisfactory basis for stating that Specification 3.0.4 requirements are not applicable during the 30-day extension period. Therefore, this change l
has no effect on the 10CFR50.92 significant hazards evaluation previously submitted.
The revised typed pages of the proposed technical specifications, including page change j
instructions, are included in Enclosure 1. The marked pages are provided in Enclosure 2.
