Dear Sir:
Transmitted herewith are five copies of a Revision to the Plant Security Personnel Training and Qualification Plan for Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station Units 2 and 3.
The Revision consists of a revised cover, title page and page 4-2 dated Auguqt, 1984. 'Ihe Revisions clarify a portion of the Plan identified in item 5.a of Canbined Inspection Report 50-277/84-06 and 50-278/84-06 as being potentially ambiguous. The Revisions will not decrease the safeguards effectiveness of the Plan.
In'accordance with Paragraph 2.C.(4)(c) of Facility Operating License DPR-44 and Paragraph 2.C.(3)(c) of License DPR-56 (added by Amendment Nos. 80 and 78 on July 20, 1981), the Revision to the Training and Qualification Plan is being treated in the same manner required for changes made to the Security Plan and Safeguards Contincyncy Plan pursuant to 10 CFR 550.54(p).
In accordance with Sections 2.790 and 73.21 of the Commission's regulations, it is hereby requested that the enclosed Revisions to the Plan be withheld from public disclocure. An affidavit in support of this request is attached hereto.
