The Southern Nuclear Operating Company (Southern Nuclear) Board of Directors has named James II. Miller, III as Executive Vice President and Corporate Counsel, effective December 4,1995. With this change, Mr. Miller continues to be responsible for the Administrative and Technical Services Organizations as well as for Southern Nuclear's governmental relations and legal affairs. Mr. Miller was named Senior Vice President and Corporate Counsel of Southern Nuclear on June 12,1995.
