Dear Dr. Murley:
In re',ponse to the referenced letter, we have reviewed the general concerns expressed in IE Bulletin 83-07 as applicable to our Limerick Generating Station and find no basis to believe that the concerns are applicable.
In addition to the facts presented to you in our letter of March 22, 1984, we feel that the strong quality programs maintained by our A/E - Constructor (Bechtel) and our NSSS Supplier (General Electric) generate a solid basis for our position.
Both of these organizations Implement vendor audit programs, supplier quality program reviews, shop inspection, and_ site receipt inspection, all of which provide a O

In.addltlon, we. have proven.to, ourselves' many times through _ our own: audits of - General Electric and. Bechtel that,their

It is our Tjudgement that.the general concerns of IE Bulletin 83-07.do not apply to Limerick Generating Station and, therefore, no corrective actions are planned.
