ATTACl+ENT 1 LIE RICK GENERATING STATION WIDE RANGE ACCIDENT MONITOR CALIBRATION FACTORS The Wide Range Accident Monitor detector calibration factors were evaluated using the Loss-of-Coolant Accident source term presented in LGS FSAR Table 15.6-16.
.Since the isotopic mixtura of the source term changos as a function of timo following shutdown, the detector responso also changos. Over the timo period from reactor shutdown to four days after shutdown, the calibration factor changes by a factor of four.
From four days to 30 days, the calibration factor is constant.
in order to maintain the system accuracles within a factor of two in accordance with Regulatory Guide 1.97, Rev. 2, the calibration factor can be changed at appropriato Intervals following roactor
' shutdown.
The calibration factor is calculated on the basis of olther the expected Isotopic mix (FSAR) or Isotopic mix determined from a grab samplo.
On the basis of the FSAR source tenn it will be appropriato to change the calibration factor at approximately 3 hours3.472222e-5 days
8.333333e-4 hours
4.960317e-6 weeks
1.1415e-6 months
, 7 hours8.101852e-5 days
0.00194 hours
1.157407e-5 weeks
2.6635e-6 months
, 12 hours1.388889e-4 days
0.00333 hours
1.984127e-5 weeks
4.566e-6 months
, 24 hours2.777778e-4 days
0.00667 hours
3.968254e-5 weeks
9.132e-6 months
, 2 days, and 4 days following reactor shutdown.
