Response to llRC Request for Additional Information concerning TS amendments for Facility License No. R-66.
Dear Mr. Adams:
We have received your request for additional information, and are working to . prepare a resubmittal of non-conversion changes to current Technical Specifications for the OVAR, as you requested.
In it, we will point out the changes from present TS, an well as rationale for the same. In addition, we will make the format changes and term clarifications that your suggested. However, we will not be able to meet your 30 day return regttest. Preparation of this material by our small staff is time consuming, and such submittals must be reviewed and approved by our Reactor safety Conmittee. This committee meets regularly, but at intervals greater than 30-days. As I commented to you by phone this afternoon, we have no urgency in this matter and the consideration and approval of these TS changes can proceed at normal speed.
Thank you for your thoughtful pre-review of our amendment application.
