In the Matter'of the ) Docket Nos. 50-327 Tennessee Valley Authority ) 50-328 In accordance with 10 CFR Part 50.90, we are enclosing 40 copies .of. a requested amendment to the operating license, DPR-77 and DPR-79, to change the Sequoyah Nuclear Plant units 1 and 2 technical specifications (T/S). The proposed changes are provided in Enclosure 1. These proposed changes allow use of a fifth vital battery to satisfy limiting conditions for operation (LCO) when one of the trained vital batteries is out of service. The justification for the proposed T/S changes is provided in Enclosure 2.
Enclosed is a check for the $150 amendment application fee required by 10 CFR 170.12. The amendment application fee is being wired to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Attention: Licensing Fee Management Branch.
This requested amendment has been evaluated pursuant to 10 CFR 50.92 and no significant hazards considerations are involved.
