i As discussed with Bob Martin (LGS Project Manager) and Anira Gill of the Core Perfonnance Branch in the reference conference call we request that LGS License Condition #2, Fuel Rod Pressure Limit, be closed based on the recent resolution of this generic issue between General Electric Company and the NRC.

l General Electric's ilmit for huel rod internal gas pressure was submitted to the NRC for review in Amendment 7 to GE Licensing Topical Report NECE-24011-P-A dated February 25, 1983 and was accepted by the l

Core Performance Branch.

The fuel bundles to be usN in Limerick's initial core Are evaluated using the GE fuel rod thermat - nuchanical performance model l

(GESTR-MECHANICAL).

-The resdits' of this evaluation demonstrated that these bundles meet GE's Ilmit for fuel rod internal pressure.
