Dear Sirs:
By Memorandum and Order dated May 25, 1984, the Atomic i
Safety and Licensing Board in this proceeding directed that discovery commence concerning the admitted contentions of Intervenor Michael L. Slade, and that the parties to this proceeding file a report by August 15, 1984, indicating the status of discovery and suggesting a " schedule of proceedings leading up to, and including, a prospect.ive hearing."
On July 13, 1984, Rochester Gas and Electric Corporation
(" Applicant") served its first set of interrogatories on Mr.
Slade.
On July 24, 1984, Mr. Slade filed a pleading withdrawing all of his outstanding contentions.
As a result, on August 3, 1984, Applicant filed a motion seeking to terminate this proceeding.
