' Gentlemen:
I am enclosing a recent article from the Pottstown MERCURY dated May 2, 1984.
In response to that newspaper article about intentional releasing of radioactive material into the air in the Limerick area cnd into the Schuylkill River, I attached the within petition to the General Store in the tiny village of Birchrunville.
Birchrunville probably does not have even 150 residents.
Within a week's time 50 people signed this petition.
I think that this is a clear mandate to our elected representatives to do something immediately.about the possible intentional pollution of our air and water.
You will see by the copies of this letter that I am also sending it to various townships asking the Board 'of Supervisors - to post them in prominent places or likewise, they may join in the petition and that they should also please forward it on to the same elected officials that I have.
